We head North to Boundary Mill for some Retail Therapy and a Complimentary Tea / Coffee.
After a short Visit you hop back aboard your coach to be greeted by your Tour Guide. You will then experience a journey through The History of The Ribble Valley.
This Tour has a bit of something for Everyone: Roman Forts, Medieval villages, Majestic Architecture and a multitude of famous names all set against the backdrop of outstanding Natural Beauty. The Ribble Valley described as the "Tuscany of the North", provides such little gems as the picturesque Village of Downham (associated with the 1961 classic British film Whistle down the Wind, and BBC TV drama Born and Bred) Stonyhurst College with its Tudor and Victorian Buildings set in Picturesque Grounds Former famous pupils include Arthur Conan Doyle, and Charles Laughton.
